16 foot mono hull on a break neck trailer for sale. For use on the sea and river. Boat has been in my possession since 2021 but hardly had time to use it due to work commitments.
Extensive work has been done but it is an incomplete project.
The motor was stripped down to be repainted, but even that I couldn't get to.
It had a 50 hp mercury 2 stroke and flew over the waves around the bay with ease.
Very economical on fuel too.
The motor I will rebuilt shortly but not in time. Thus I am selling the boat without the motor
On the boat, all that needs to be done is the buoyancy certificate as it expired in June last year. Bottle filled. Then the visor need to be mounted which is on the boat and lastly a small amount of electrical work, ie just for the lights and radio. Then the boat is complete. It has plenty storage and a secret compartment. It was used as a dive boat.
The trailer is brand new. Completely refurbished. Every bolt with stainless steel, sandblasted and regalvanised. New axle and hubs, new R6000 rims and brand new tyres. Probably done 50 metres in and out of the garage when cleaning it. New winch, new leave spring packs, new everything. Like I said, completely new and redone.
Trailer is licence and all papers available.
It has a fish finder, fire extinguisher but no other safety equipment.
I bought the boat and spend thousands on it, but never got to take it to the water.
If interested or if you have any questions, feel free to contact me on whatsapp 0825935093.
The price is slightly negotiable.
This, even though it is an urgent sale.
It is a very nice, compact and versatile boat.
Thanks
Johan

Tosca 36, centre cockpit with wheel steering in cockpit, mono hull, sloop-rigged full cruising yacht designed by Angelo Lavranos. Build in Cape Town in 1988, by Fred Scholtz Marine in fibre glass, to withstand the tough South African water and conditions. The rig is delightfully simple with double spreader affair with twin mast head rollers (Harken Pro-furl) Genoa and Jib with UV strips. The mainsail is fully battened, with stack pack and lazy jacks. (+one spare) Under the deck, she is beamy and very spacious with lots of storage space. Finished of with white melamine and teak trim that creates a cosy and convenient ambiance. The saloon has comfortable seating for seven people with new cushions and a large saloon table in the middle with flaps that fold down. The aft cabin is airy with a large double berth to port side (2.10m x 1.20m) and a small sofa on starboard side, there are lots of cupboards with hanging and packing space. The fore cabin has a wide v berth, 2.00m wide by 2.00m long. The single heads is light and airy. NavStation on starboard and galley on port side. The cockpit is lovely with lots of deep secure seating, with cushions two meters long and the mouldings supports your back comfortably. There is also a fabulous deep, lazarette on your port side, two smaller ones and a teak folding cockpit table. Being beamy, light and roundish, they are good trade-wind cruisers and very comfortable. Reaching would be the preferred point of sail. It is high and dry above the water and makes life very pleasant for the long duty watch or the drinking parties. Contact me for more info.
