What We Are Looking For
• Valid
forklift licence with solid practical experience — this is a firm requirement
• Minimum
2 years' experience in a cellar, agricultural, brewery or warehouse environment
• SKOP
Level 2 or 3 certification (advantageous but not essential)
• Able
to work extended hours during the harvest season
• Resident
in Kylemore, Cloetesville, Idas Valley or surrounding areas (company transport
available), OR in possession of own reliable transport to reach the Banghoek
Valley daily
Key Responsibilities
• Daily
cellar operations including wine transfers, racking, and general cellar work
• Barrel
work — filling, topping, and maintenance
• Operating
cellar machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining
high standards of cellar hygiene and cleanliness
• Supporting
grape intake and all harvest-related activities
• Reporting
to the Assistant Winemaker and Head Winemaker
