A new year means new movies and there are many coming to the big screen in the next couple of months. March will see the release of much-anticipated movies like John Wick Chapter 4 and Creed 3.
The latter is the one in the spotlight and is the latest in a trilogy of the Creed franchise. The movie's plot revolves around Donnie (Michael B Jordan) and Damian (Jonathan Majors) who were childhood friends. While the former found success in the ring, the latter spent 18 years in prison. Damian feels robbed of his career, and he goes up against his former friend in the ring for everything he's got.
The original film was released in 2015 as a spin-off of the famous Rocky franchise.
Although most of the original cast members return (Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris and Florian Munteanu), this is also the first of the Creed movies that will not feature Sylvester Stallone as Rocky. All of the previous movies had a running time of more than 2 hours and the latest one has a duration of 1 hour 57 minutes, with Michael B Jordan also directing.
