VACANCY: SENIOR PHASE TEACHER (Grade 7)

Position: Full-time SGB position
Phase: Senior Phase (Grade 7)

Are you a passionate, well-organised, and dedicated Senior Phase Teacher with a specialisation in Afrikaans and the ability to teach Social Sciences? Rosmead Central is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join our team and inspire our Grade 7 learners starting 12 January 2026.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed Senior Phase) or PGCE (Senior Phase).
• SACE registered (proof required).
• At least 2–3 years teaching experience in the Senior Phase (Grade 7).
• Sound knowledge of the CAPS curriculum.
• Proficiency in English (language of learning and teaching).
• Teaching experience in Afrikaans FAL is an advantage
• Strong classroom discipline and management skills.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork ability and a willingness to share best practices.
• Ability to integrate technology in teaching.
• Excellent planning, assessment and record-keeping skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in differentiation to meet diverse learner needs.
• Willingness to participate in extramural activities, meetings, and school functions.
• Valid police clearance certificate.
• First aid or basic health and safety training (advantageous).
