VACANCY: INTERMEDIATE PHASE TEACHER (Grade 4 / 5)

Phase: Intermediate Phase (Grade 4 / 5)

A dynamic and reputable school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Intermediate Phase Teacher to join our teaching team from 8 April 2026. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, well-organised, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Intermediate Phase)
• SACE registered (proof required).
• At least 2–3 years teaching experience in the Intermediate Phase (Grade 4–7).
• Sound knowledge of the CAPS curriculum.
• Proficiency in English (language of instruction).
• Teaching experience in Afrikaans FAL is an advantage
• Strong classroom discipline and management skills.
• Ability to integrate technology in teaching.
• Excellent planning, assessment and record-keeping skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in differentiation to meet diverse learner needs.
• Willingness to participate in extramural activities, meetings, and school functions.
• Valid police clearance certificate.
• First aid or basic health and safety training (advantageous).
