Description
Role
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and coding functional programs and applications. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Responsibilities
Working with designers and product teams in Agile environments to support production, testing and development platforms.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
Supporting Production, Test & Development platforms
Building server-side logic, API services, and application architecture.
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
Perform UI tests to optimize performance.
Troubleshooting issues and writing unit/integration tests to ensure code quality.
Optimize backend performance using proper caching, query optimization, and render pipeline improvements.
Perform bug-free release validations and produce metrices, tests and defect reports.
Minimum Requirements
5 years of professional experience, with a focus on delivering full-cycle projects.
Proficiency in writing clean, secure, and maintainable code following best practices.
In-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development and deployment).
Strong knowledge of OOP, and design patterns, specifically MVC.
Hands on JavaScript experience and at least one of the back-end languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, Node.js, C# and Python.
Familiarity with front-end languages and libraries(e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Express etc).
Experience with data modeling, caching, configuration management, and integrating REST APIs — including third-party.
Experience with Git or command-line tools.
