The Role: Senior Security and Alarm Installer

As a Senior Security and Alarm Installer/ Field Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' buildings are fortified with the latest security systems (CCTV, Alarm, Access Control) seamlessly integrated into their smart environments via IP. You'll be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining state-of-the-art security systems that provide our clients with Simplicity, convenience and the peace of mind they deserve.

Requirements:

· Proven track record as a senior installer in the security and alarm industry, showcasing your expertise and proficiency in designing, installing, programming, commissioning and maintaining systems. Include references with CV.

o Minimum of 5 years of experience is required.

o Live in Cape Town

· Strong knowledge and Experience installing, commissioning, and handing over the below systems:

o Alarm Systems (Paradox & Ajax)

o IP CCTV (Hikvision, Dahua)

o Biometric Access Control (Hikvision, Virdi, Paxton)

o IP Intercom Systems (Hikvision)

· Experience

o Neatly Reticulating Cable

o Using a Multi-Meter to trouble shoot

o Basic Electronics (ie AC vs DC, Parallel vs Series, Resistors and Diodes)

o Working with Microsoft Windows & Office

• Self-motivated, Must be able to work as part of a team and enjoy team work
• Be able to work without supervision

· Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure flawless installations

· Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients and provide top-notch service

· Relevant certifications and qualifications that highlight your technical prowess

· Ability to meet targets & deadlines

· Registration with PISIRA

· Clear criminal history

· Be presentable

· Good Sober habits

· Energetic and in Excellent Mental (stable) and Physical Health

· Stable Financial position

· Drivers Licence

Advantageous & Preferred Experience:

· Good understanding of Electronic systems

· Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

· Networking background, including having IT standards and network topology experience.

· Experience with WiFi design and setup.

· Experience supporting the implementation of fire alarm systems.

· Have working knowledge of local and national codes for inspection and test purposes

· Experience working in the construction industry and construction management

· Understand technical system architecture
