Responsibilities:
- Develop a solid understanding of the companys products and services to communicate value propositions to customers effectively
- Manage and action quotes, orders, and sales-related enquiries received via telephone, email, or walk-in customers
- Source and confirm product/service pricing from suppliers
- Analyse and interpret sales enquiries to extract relevant technical information, ensuring accurate product/service selection and specifications
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain a proactive level of telephone and email communication with existing and prospective customers
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress to support the achievement of sales targets
- Perform general filing and administrative duties within the sales department
- Carry out any ad hoc tasks reasonably aligned with the employees skills, experience, and training
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably within the IT industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills
- Commitment to continuous learning, growth, and delivering exceptional service
- Own reliable transport and a valid drivers licence
- Knowledge of Pastel is advantageous
