Job Description:
The primary focus of the position is to effectively support the Operations Director in overseeing projects while also undertaking work when required.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Roof repairs
- Fitting PVC ceilings
- Fitting of drywalling
- Other general carpentry duties
- Overseeing works while on site
- Reporting to Maintenance Manager
- Ensuring work is carried out timeously
Minimum job requirements:
The following requirements are necessary for the position:
- Minimum 5 years experience as tradesman
- Minimum of 10 years supervisor experience
- Able to read plans, take measurement and levels
- Speak and understand English
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong Team player
- Must have drivers licence
Working conditions:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00am – 4:30pm
- Able to work additional hours if required
Position in firm: Reports to the Operations Director
Salary: R15,000 per month
