Description
Job Title: Pipe Fitter
Reporting to: Operations
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to support our construction projects in the Gauteng region in Modderfontein. As a Pipe Fitter, your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and repairing piping systems
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Performing inspections to identify issues
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure project completion
- Each employee will need to travel to site and back on their own and at their own cost (Local site in Modderfontein)
- Each employee will except this as his day rate and will work hours given by the client and site construction manager, during the week they will perform the job at task and complete the task given.
- Saturday and Sundays will be needed from time to time and will be paid for as overtime
- Night shift is a possibility
- Clean criminal record
Requirements:
- Matric qualification
- 2-3 years of experience in construction
- Proficiency in pipe fitting with threading and grooving
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Trade Test and Red Seal Certification

About the Role:
· As an HVAC Technician at Cool Tech, you will:
·
Install, maintain and repair air conditioning
and ventilation systems (splits, cassettes, ducted units, etc.).
·
Perform fault-finding on mechanical, electrical
and control issues.
·
Carry out preventative maintenance and complete
service reports/job cards.
·
Communicate professionally with clients and
represent the company on site.
·
Work closely with our operations/service team to
deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
·
Experienced HVAC or Refrigeration Technician
(Trade/Red Seal not a must).
·
Solid experience with installation,
commissioning, service and repair of HVAC systems.
·
Confident using gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery
units, multimeters and other test equipment.
·
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
and technical documentation.
·
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
to various sites.
·
Strong work ethic, good communication skills and
a professional attitude.
·
Willingness to work overtime/standby when
required.
·
Refrigeration, VRF/VRV, BMS or data-center
experience will be a strong advantage.
