Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D models, fabrication drawings, assemblies, and GA drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop and refine equipment designs to optimise performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure design documentation aligns with project requirements and engineering standards.
• Support new product development and variations based on engineering input or client specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, procurement, and production stakeholders to enable smooth execution of projects.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly to resolve any designâ??related challenges.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, adhere to drawing control procedures, and prepare "asâ??built" documentation.
• Participate in R&D and continuous improvement initiatives, including prototype design and testing support.
• Ensure design deliverables comply with ISO 9001:2015 and SolidWorks PDM requirements.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile
Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Draughting (or equivalent

Experience

• 58 years experience in mechanical design and draughting, ideally within water treatment or processâ??equipment environments.
• Extensive experience in SolidWorks 3D modelling, detailing, and drafting.
