Fire Technician – Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

Are you a seasoned Fire Detection Technician ready to take your career to the next level? Join a dynamic team delivering high-impact safety solutions across the Northern Suburbs. We’re looking for a hands-on expert with deep technical knowledge.

 What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair conventional and addressable fire detection and alarm systems

• Commission and troubleshoot systems including Technoswitch, Ziton, Zyteq, and C-Tec

• Interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with SANS 10139 and local fire safety regulations

• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with clients and contractors

• Contribute to gas suppression installations (beneficial but not essential)

✅ What You Bring

• 5–8 years’ experience in fire detection system installation and maintenance

• SAQCC Fire Detection certification

• PSIRA registration

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication

• Familiarity with commissioning protocols and technical standards
