RETIRED Code 14 TRAINER (Ex-driver)

Too old to drive — BUT not too old to teach - Fluent in Zulu.

A large transport company based in Pinetown is seeking a retired Code 14 driver to train heavy-duty truck drivers.

Requirements:

• Retired Code 14 (EC) driver

• Fluent in isiZulu

• Aged 65 years or older and officially retired

• Previous long-distance experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailers

• Fit and healthy

• Available Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Role Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor heavy-duty drivers

• Reduce diesel consumption

• Improve vehicle care and maintenance awareness

• Promote safe driving practices and accident prevention

• Improve overall professionalism of drivers

Package:

• R12,000 – R14,000 per month (all-inclusive)

• Full training provided to the right candidate

This role is ideal for a retired driver looking to supplement retirement income while sharing valuable experience and helping develop safer, more professional drivers.
