VW & AUDI Technician required

Location: Randburg ( Gauteng )

Permanent position

We looking for a qualified and professional technician to join the team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Servicing of light motor vehicles,

General mechanical repairs.

regular interval servicing

Rebuilding and assembling VAG engines

Cam-belt services

Inspecting and reporting vehicle faults and defects.

Test driving vehicles

Be responsible for all tools and equipment, both your own toolbox and the workshops tools.

Hang tools up after use.

Jacking up the vehicles with the safety measures in place.

Operating hoist.

Using hydraulic and power tools with care and safety.

Cleaning the workshops before leaving.

Executing all work in a safe manner.

Qualifications Required:

Automotive Mechanic Trade Test is Essential - Please include your certification with your application.

Skills:

Must be able to use Haynes Pro

Excellent diagnostic abilities

Profound knowledge of systems and tools needed to perform a procedure

Sound understanding of safety precautions

Demonstrated ability to determine causes of errors and good resolution judgment

Profound ability to determine what type of tools will be used in which situation

Proven ability to detect problems and perform troubleshooting procedures

Ability to handle precision machines and material handling equipment

Excellent ability to perform all the above, keeping in mind company standards and procedures

Able to communicate with all levels of the organization

Experience:

3-5 years’ experience as a vehicle mechanic

Other requirements:

Driver’s License

Salary: R15 000 - 22 000 per month

License/Certification:

Red Seal Automotive Mechanic Trade Test (Required)
