Meat Manufacturer, based in Pinetown, requires a Sales and Marketing Manager, who will lead the full Sales/Marketing function for the business.

Experience & Qualifications:
•
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Sales/Marketing
•
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management role.
•
Demonstrated track record of growing sales and/or improving attained margin in a medium-to-large-size business.
•
Experience in dealing with modern and traditional retailers and/or wholesalers.
•
Experience in pricing and trading term negotiations.
•
Focus on customer service.
•
Intermediate skills in MS Office – especially Excel.
•
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•
As a sales manager you will be expected to demonstrate a range of skills and experience. Be responsible for the guidance and development of your team so it is essential you are a good communicator, able to inspire your team and spot potential.

Display excellent interpersonal skills.
•
Strategic ability and insight of your customers should enable you and your team to drive sales in existing and new product categories in a consistent and profitable manner

•
Responsible for coaching existing and new salespeople and conducting regular performance reviews to help employees enhance their career skills.

Overseeing pre to post-sales support activities for the designated goods and regions while guaranteeing the greatest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Line and Staff operational planning, through which procedures are established in advance, against which the quality and quantity of work may be controlled.
