Pattern Maker

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in a clothing manufacturing environment
• Ability to create patterns from existing garments and technical specifications
• Experience with pattern grading and garment fit adjustments
• Good understanding of garment construction and factory production processes
• Knowledge of Lectra or similar pattern-making software would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pattern development
• Ability to work well in a team and meet production deadlines
• Reliable with a good work track record

Key Responsibilities

• Create patterns from existing garments and design specifications
• Develop new patterns based on garment measurements and technical requirements
• Grade patterns into various sizes according to size charts
• Analyze and adjust patterns to ensure production efficiency and accurate fit
• Work closely with the sampling and production teams during fittings and sample development
• Ensure patterns include correct markings, seam allowances, and technical details
• Maintain organized pattern records and documentation
• Provide technical input on garment construction and production processes
