Junior Food production manager wanted

An expanding dairy processing facility is looking for a junior food production supervisor to join their team.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get ample experience in an up and coming artisan cheese making business.

The position will include but will not be limited to the following tasks and duties:

• Quality control in all aspects of the products and production

• Management of teams and staff

• Development and training of staff

• Providing reports and feedback to management in key areas

• Management and control of production

• Management of day to day routine tasks and out of line tasks

• Ensure hygiene and food safety measures are adhered to and improved upon

• Ensuring preventative maintenance is done on all equipment

• Ensure documentation is filled in and up to date

The successful candidate should have the following prerequisites:

• Passion for food

• Matric certificate

• Fluent in English (other languages beneficial)

• Drivers license & Own transport

• HACCP knowledge beneficial

• Previous food industry experience

• Traceable references

• Tertiary degree beneficial
