Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Facilities Operations Manager / CNC programmer located in East London. The Facilities Operations Manager / CNC programmer will be responsible for managing the operations of the facilities and overseeing the programming of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines. This includes planning and coordinating facility maintenance and repairs, managing the CNC programming process, and ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and machinery. The Facilities Operations Manager / CNC programmer will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing operational processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facility operations management and CNC programming
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and software, such as G-code and CAM software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience in coordinating facility maintenance and repairs.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Must have a Code 8 drivers license

Job Description:
To conduct scheduled preventative maintenance along with repair plan.
Undertake specific preventative tasks on machines according to established schedule to keep them in good working order.
Troubleshoot problems as they arise both mechanically and electrically. Inspect equipment to identify any replacement, malfunctions and repairs.
Repair and clean the equipment when needed.
Adhere to and follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Ensure all toolboxes and tools are kept in good condition.
Practices good housekeeping; maintain the work area clean, safe and organized and adheres to all safety procedures.
Ensure proper communication and handover on outstanding tasks between shifts and day shifts teams.
Contribute to waste management.
Be able to work in a team environment and possess a strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well as a team.

Diploma/N4 in Electrical Engineering

Experience in Mechatronics or Electrical

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
