Operations· Responsible for deliveringan excellent Ocean and Air Freight Service to clients (internal / external) byadhering to client’s instructions / needs· Ensure that all workcompleted on a file are in accordance with the quoted rates, and that anyadditional disbursements are brought to the client’s attention prior toproceeding· Oversee the control of allfiles and ensure that all requirements are met in accordance with statutoryrequirements, internal processes and procedures as well as internationalshipping practice · Responsible for variousadministrative duties and document control in the Sea Freight and Air FreightDepartment, incl. the following:· Ensure timely receipt ofcorrect and complete shipping documentation· Ensure timely receipt ofANF’s, Releases and invoices from s / lines, co-loaders, airlines· Ensure that customs clearanceis affected in the correct time frames· Ensure transporters arenotified and that deliveries / collections are affected in required time frames· Responsible to ensure thatall Marine Insurance Claims are attended to and that all requirements are fulfilledby the company within the specific turnaround times· Exports: ensure thatpre-alerts are send out immediately· Keep clients (internal / externalinformed at all times)· Create / compile estimatesaccording to client & agent requirements for all transport modes bothimports and exports where required2.
