Job Title: Events Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, professional and experienced Driver to join our dynamic events team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment, and other event-related materials to and from venues in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport event equipment, décor, and team members to various locations across the region/country
• Assist with loading and offloading of equipment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and roadworthiness of the company vehicle
• Adhere to traffic laws and road safety regulations at all times
• Follow event schedules and delivery timelines
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately
• Provide support to the events team when needed on-site
• Maintain accurate mileage and delivery logs
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or venue staff

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code 10 or Code 14 preferred)
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Minimum 2–3 years driving experience, ideally in an events, logistics, or transport environment
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Trustworthy, punctual, and well-presented
