Driver Trainer

We are looking for a Driver Trainer to support our training function. You will be responsible for training, re-training, skilling and upskilling drivers. Furthermore, you will assist with the recruitment and assessment of new drivers as well as assist with developing training programs.

In this role, you should combine a strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. You should also be a reliable problem-solver.

Your goal will be to facilitate learning and ensuring classes run smoothly.

Location: Pretoria

KEY DUTIES

• Train and evaluate all Code 14 heavy duty drivers
• Maintain records of training done
• Recruitment and assessment of new Code 14 heavy duty drivers
• Conduct driving performance evaluations
• Accident remedial training
• Classroom Training
• On Road On Job training
• Preparation of training schedules
• Providing input for the development of training material
• Coaching and mentoring
• Feedback to management on training / trainee performance

Requirements

• Grade 12 (required)
• Certification as Driver Trainer (Assessor, Facilitator and / or Moderator)
• Valid Code 14 Driver Licence with PrDP
• 4-5 years relevant work experience in Training/Learning environment.
• Computer Literate
• Knowledge of MS Office skills (required) and LMS (desired).
