Description
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Operate Code 14 vehicles (including trucks and tipper vehicles) to transport construction materials, plant equipment, and supplies to and from designated locations.Â
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance requirements.Â
- Comply with all traffic laws, site safety standards, and company transport policies.Â
- Load and offload materials safely using appropriate equipment and in coordination with site teams.Â
- Maintain accurate delivery and trip records, including logbooks and fuel usage reports.Â
- Assist with site setup and logistical operations as directed by supervisors.Â
- Adhere to schedules and routes to ensure efficient time management and productivity.Â
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including checking oil, water, tyres, and brakes.Â
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, safety, and teamwork while representing the company on and off-site.Â
- Grade 10 / Equivalent qualification.Â
- Clear criminal record.Â
- Valid Code 14 (EC) driverâ??s licence with a valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).Â
- Minimum 5 yearsâ?? experience as a Code 14 Driver in the logistics industry.Â
- Ability to read and follow delivery schedules, maps, and work instructions.Â
