Silver Forest Boutique Hotel is seeking an experienced, highly professional Senior Hotel General Assistant / Private Butler to deliver exceptional, personalised service in a luxury boutique hotel environment. This role is suited to a candidate accustomed to working independently, with a strong background in luxury lodges, high-end hotels, or private residences.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide discreet, intuitive, and high-touch service similar to that of a private butler, supporting guests across accommodation, housekeeping, and food & beverage service while maintaining the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering personalised butler-style guest service, anticipating guest needs

• Working independently and unsupervised, taking full ownership of assigned shifts

• Maintaining luxury housekeeping standards, including rooms and public areas

• Providing professional food and beverage service, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and in-room dining

• Bar service, including wine, cocktails, and beverage service to luxury standards

• Setting up and servicing private dinners, functions, and special guest requests

• Handling guest feedback with professionalism and discretion

• Ensuring immaculate presentation, hygiene, and service standards at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in a luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or private household

• Previous experience in a butler, house manager, or senior all-rounder hospitality role

• Ability to work confidently without supervision

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

• High level of attention to detail and personal presentation

• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, wine, and service etiquette

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
