Employment opportunity is available of a Registered Nurse/Midwife (Experienced). The successful candidate will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring that all our patients receive comprehensive quality nursing care and will be reporting to Maternity ward- Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• ensure quality service delivery to patients through all stages of labour.
• provide prenatal and postnatal care to patients.
• monitoring of the mother and the fetus in utero during labour
• manage all complications of labour.
• Providing sound advice/health education to patients on selfcare during all stages of labour
• Management of all pregnancy associated diseases.
• Accurate collection and recording of patient data.
• Screening of patients on admission
• Reporting
• Teaching, mentoring and supervision of subordinates/co-workers.
Minimum Requirements
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
• Diploma in Midwifery / advanced midwifery is a requirement.
• 3-5 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse/Midwife in a Maternity ward in private healthcare facility.

•A post basic qualification in the area of specialty, or evidence of competent experience in that field, together with contemporary skills and knowledge of that specialty
•Relevant experience in Neo Natal ICU
•Previous experience in a Neo Natal ICU Unit are essential
