WELL TRAINED AND PROFESSIONAL CARE GIVER SEEKING PRIVATE PATIENT CARE. FULL TIME OR SHIFR WORK

Good day My name is Shirley, a very experienced and well focused Care giver who was trained comprehensively at AGNES HOME CARERS in Kuilsriver and qualified with a full certificate in Home based Care and advanced First Aid with CPR certificates. I went on to be engaged in a practical working environment when I volunteered at TILBACH CARE FACILITY in Strand as Carer. We worked shift hours and gained so much experience nursing various patients with not so similar chronic illnesses that included, Dementia and Alzheimer's patients, frail and bedridden patients, post operated, patients with Parkinson illness and those on different stages of cancer. I performed various duties during my shift which included" Cleaning and bed changing in the morning, performing fullwash on patients, changing nappies, bedpan and assisting others to the bathroom to shower, feeding needy patients, assisting with pressure care management, checking vitals and properly recording and assisting resident nurses to insure patients tale their medication on time, maintaining moral within the ward and helping with exercises and taking some patients for walks etc. For reference, you can contact the matron at Tulbach on 021 946 0045 and she will speak with you. From 2021 to 2024, I was employed again by another family to take good care of their grandparent who was frail and had cancer. I was working another full time position as well and performed various duties to make my patient as comfortable as possible. They including cleaning, bed changing, performing full wash , skin and mouth care, pressure care management, helping with all bathroom needs, checking her vitals and monitoring that she take her prescribed medication everyday. I also helped with appointments and other errands that were important and above all good companionship which she needed desperately.
