Field Service Engineer

The Role:
A  Field Service Engineer position is available requiring a skilled and experienced commodities hardware support engineer.

The ideal candidate must be willing to travel to and from clients site when required and having own transport is essential.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
The primary focus will be Notebook and Desktop hardware break / fix.
Remediate hardware and software faults.
Troubleshooting and identifying correct components for successful repair of Laptop and Desktop equipment.
 
Skills and Experience:
Essential Qualification:
In-depth knowledge of Desktop and Notebook computers. .
Ability to troubleshoot.
Preferred Qualification:
Break / Fix Qualifications on the following desktop equipment vendors:
           -HPE, Lenovo, Dell and other.

Experience required:
2 â?? 5 years field services experience.
Break / Fix of under and out of warrantee commodities hardware.
Personality and Attributes:
Excellent people skills

Work Environment:
Workshop and normal client office environment.
Occasional Datacentre work.
Physical demands:
Driving to and from clients.
On some occasions will be required to help with Rack and Stack of datacentre equipment including Server and Storage components.
Travel:
Travel to and from clients required.
Own transport essential.
