Occupational Health Nurse

Exciting new role has opened up with a national manufacturing concern for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse.

Duties would include ensuring that all necessary health and safety programs / services are available to staff.  This role will focus on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury and protection from work related and environmental hazards. 

Incumbent would be expected to travel to branches nationally.

Requirements: 

• Proven work experience as an Occupational Health Practitioner
• Registered Nurse with SANC registration
• A dispensing licence is compulsory
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation
• Good organisational skills, the ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that an efficient service is delivered
• Client service skills, active listening skills, sensitivity and understanding, pay attention to detail
• Good communication skills (writing and verbal)
• Work well under pressure
• Drivers licence
