IT Procurement Officer

Our global client is looking for an IT Procurement Officer to join their team. You would be responsible for managing all aspects of internal and customer purchasing, including evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and processing purchases. You will also provide support to the Service Desk Team for change resolution cases. 

Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Procurement Officer or similar role
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. NetSuite or SAP)
Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and negotiation abilities
An eye to detail and high standard of presentation of work
Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks while not being distracted from key priorities
Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive through to a resolution
Exposure to products and services supported by the Service Desk
Very good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
Primary Responsibilities:
Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal database
Place orders, track shipments and address any delays as needed
Maintaining and updating list of suppliers
Creating estimates for clients and raising orders for suppliers
Fulfilling client orders and ensuring these are billed
Day-to-day management of non-technical client details on systems
Ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality
Identifying continual service improvement opportunities
Adoption of, and contribution to processes and procedures to support working practices
Assisting the SDTL with the delivering of and driving of the groups KPIs across the SDT
