- Grade 12 / Matric
- Valid forklift licence
- 510 years experience as a forklift driver
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and basic numerical skills
- Physically fit and in good health
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the forklift safely and in accordance with company policies and safety procedures
- Load and unload trucks in an organised and efficient manner
- Report any damaged goods immediately during loading or offloading
- Ensure correct pickings and orders are dispatched from the warehouse
- Check incoming stock, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- Attend daily production planning meetings and plan production requirements timeously
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report faults immediately
- Coordinate and communicate sales orders and pickings with factory staff
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse, equipment, and workspace
- Assist with monthly stock takes
- Provide support to admin and sales staff when required
