Maintenance Manager

Our client is looking for a Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong Mechanical background, Good Planning/Management Skills, and is able to work under pressure. This person will takeover the Electrical Management of the Plant.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

• Ensure Plant up time according to agreed standards
• Ensure Site is maintained according to agreed standards
• Assess machinery and equipment maintenance needs and develop an effective preventative maintenance plan
• Develop an effective manpower plan and manage subordinates according to agreed KPAs: Engineering and Site Services
• Ensure adequate planned maintenance implementation program and an adequate response time to unplanned maintenance (breakdowns)
• Measure and analyse trends to develop improvement programs
• Assist with the conduct of root cause analysis and propose improvement plans
• Develop implementation program for improvement plans
• Health, Safety and Environmental compliance

PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• The safe use of all equipment and machinery within the set specification.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent with qualified trade

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• At least 10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment

RECOMMENDED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALITIES:

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong Mechanical background
• Good Planning/Management Skills, able to work under pressure.
