We are looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor / Diesel Mechanic to assist our Fleet Manager in overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience working on Superlink trucks and diesel bakkies
• Strong mechanical knowledge — able to diagnose, repair, and service engines, gearboxes, and trailers
• Experience in managing mechanics and workshop operations
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and fleet management systems
• Reliable, organized, and hands-on approach to work

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Fleet Manager with daily workshop and fleet operations
• Supervise mechanics and ensure quality workmanship
• Plan and oversee servicing, repairs, and breakdowns
• Keep accurate maintenance and service records
• Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and compliant
• Manage stock of parts, tools, and consumables
