Job Description

You will be responsible for:
Presenting and selling technical ingredients to the manufacturing sector
Developing and growing the ranges of the producers of such ingredients in the Sub-Saharan African market
Assisting customers with formulation advice
Custodian of current business at allotted customers and to grow the business
Developing new customer sales opportunities within South Africa and Sub Saharan Africa
Product training and motivating your colleagues to assist with securing business leads and sales.
New product development and technical/formulating support at customers
Present new ranges to customers and identify key products of focus within allotted suppliers portfolios
Evaluating market opportunities, customer potential, and translating this into sales
Reporting to principal suppliers
Forecasting, budgets and costing of products and product ranges
You should have the following:
Valid drivers license and motor vehicle
Must be willing to travel locally, may be required to travel internationally
Qualifications
Scientific degree in chemistry, biochemistry, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals
Skills
3 years of relevant technical sales experience (cosmetic, cosmeceutical, fragrance, toiletries, pharmaceutical, detergent)
Must demonstrate can work in a highly pressurised and multi-tasking office environment
Highly computer literate
