Description

A busy and award winning agency in the EAST is looking for a Lead Traffic Manager who will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the agency process. This includes scheduling of all work, meetings, liaison between Account Services and all other departments within the agency and supervising, coordinating, and ensuring all deadlines are met in an orderly flow while maintaining the quality and creative excellence of the agency.

Objectives of the role:
The efficient scheduling and management of the delivery of work with agency resources
Efficient and optimal use of all resources on all projects within the agency
Read, review, evaluate and accept or reject all briefs or seek further clarity, if required, on all briefs within the agency
Managing the Junior Traffic Manager to ensure the department can accept a brief and understand the level of resource, time and the timelines required and manage the agency process
Review and complete job lists daily, ensuring all schedules are booked and updated and communicated to Account Managers and the team
Ensure timelines are provided for delivery to Client Service
Attend weekly Client Service status meetings
Set due dates for various stages of job completion after consulting with teams for timing requirements
Clearly understand the Chase system and learn the internal Traffic system software
Keep abreast of work in the creative department and follow up on due dates established for copy, layout, DTP, etc.
Expedite any/all rush jobs in such a way that process does not obstruct the orderly flow of everyday work
Inform Management of day-to-day activity, as well as of any conflicts, delays, postponements, or any other unusual situations that may impede the orderly flow of assignments
Book and attend daily stand-ups with relevant departments i.e. Creative, Client Service, Copy departments
Assisting Operations Manager for short-term planning and management of freelance and long-term planning and recruitment of staff in all departments
Make decisions daily and act on them to constantly move the flow of work through the agency
To collaborate with the line manager, colleagues and all teams that you are tasked to deal with on a daily basis
Make final decisions on resource allocations and understand when you need to accommodate a team or push a team due to the level of capacity of the team
Requirements for the role:
A minimum of 5yrs experience in a similar agency role is mandatory
A keen eye for detail
Exceptional time management, planning and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can work under extreme pressure and is able to think logically and in an analytical way to apply knowledge, experience and manage multiple tasks
An excellent and enthusiastic team player
Is responsible and accountable in all areas of their portfolio
Project management experience would be advantageous
