Description

Our Client in Woodmead, Gauteng (Retail/Health industry), has a permanent role available for a Sponsorship & Product Campaigns Specialist, reporting into the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager.

Open to all South African citizens with a valid SA ID.

Minimum requirements for Skills/Education/Experience:
SKILLS:
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Any second language advantageous
• A self-starter who is able to set their own priorities & take initiative
• Communicative, energetic & enthusiastic, with a ‘can do’ approach to tasks
• Must be numerate
• Excellent administrative & organizational skills
• Confident & personable with good interpersonal skills
• Able to work as part of a local and an international team but also independently when Supervisor/Manager is out of the office
• Ability to multi-task, but still attend to detail and focus on important issues
• Must be a team player.
• Ability to stay focused when working under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint – minimum requirements; web design & email marketing software skills a major advantage)
• Must be prepared to travel occasionally and will therefore need to be flexible in terms of working hours, which will include some evenings and weekends
• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves

EDUCATION:
• Excellent in the English language
• Matric qualification
• Marketing Diploma/Degree qualification essential (please do not apply if you have not completed this qualification)

EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Marketing environment – preferably in a related Industry (retail; health)
• Commercial experience displaying proof of strong organisational skills
• 2 years’ experience in Sponsorship management advantageous
• Search Engine Marketing experience advantageous
• Product launch experience advantageous

Job Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Materials and other literature :
• All marketing materials must be accurate and professionally displayed, incorporating approved company branding; they MUST be proof read and checked thoroughly prior to distribution to ensure there are no spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.
• Ensure correct global image for all product and literature produced whilst incorporating local/legal and other requirements.
• Keep abreast with all local developments with regard to the food industry and local regulations in order to ensure up to date and accurate adherence to legal and DSA requirements.

2. Southern African website maintenance:
• Working in con-junction with the Sales strategy and Marketing coordinator to ensure Southern African content and marketing materials is up to date on all local websites and that information is easy to find.

3. Search Engine Marketing and SEO:
• Manage EMEA campaigns
