BOOKKEEPER / EAST LONDON – This is a 2-year contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, preparation of detailed financial statements, PAYE and SARS submissions, VAT reporting, as well as handling fleet, fuel, and salary-related administration. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting overall operations. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years’ bookkeeping experience, preferably in a multi-faceted business (operations, fleet, salaries). Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, UIF, and SARS eFiling. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or Pastel) and advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with fleet and fuel reconciliations (advantageous). Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries. Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports. Handle VAT calculations and submissions to SARS. Administer PAYE, UIF, and SDL submissions. Process monthly payroll and salary reconciliations. Oversee fleet management expenses, including fuel usage, maintenance, and related cost allocations. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and supplier statements. Manage invoicing, debtors, and creditors’ reconciliations. Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors. Support operational teams with financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control. Ensure compliance with SARS and statutory regulations. Prepare ad hoc financial and operational reports as required. Main purpose of the job:

Receive and store stock, Pick and Prepare loads for distribution to clients.

Preferred Requirements:

• Matric
• Certificate in Store and Stock Control
• Induction training

Knowledge:

• Specific product and workflow procedures knowledge, full understanding of the work procedure for the warehouse
• Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Principles and Practices
• Knowledge of stock control principles and practices, picking procedures, FIFO principles and practices.
• Knowledge of quality specification of finished product.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Principles and Practices Internal Tasks and Procedures - Receiving Principles, practices, and internal procedures.
• Product and quality specifications knowledge
• Stock storing and handling procedures.
• Demarcated areas - Return stock procedures. Picking and loading procedures. Product and packaging quality specifications of products. Product knowledge, packaging configuration. Health and Safety principles, practices, and internal procedures. MDWT Principles, practices, and internal guidelines

Skills:

Ability to interpret picking slip correctly. Mathematical.

I am looking for a Maintenance Assistant who has their own vehicle. 

Someone who is looking at a salary of R12 000 per month

Someone with general Electrical knowledge and welding experience

Manufacturing Maintenance experience would be beneficial

Someone who is physically in good health 

The company is in based in Olifantsfontein / Clayville 

The person will assist the Maintenance Manager in ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery run to their maximum efficiency and output.

This will include preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance and scheduled maintenance.

The minimum duties that will be expected of you will be:

• Attend to general machine maintenance
• Maintain and improve machinery
• Facility maintenance
• Scheduled machine maintenance
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
