Product Manager

Job objective

To build and promote company brands and to improve Market Share in line with Market Growth.



You will be responsible for

Product planning, marketing, communication reporting systems and structures, representative training. This includes product management throughout the lifecycle of the product and working closely with the Sales and Regulatory Affairs department to deliver viable products into the South African market.



Education and Experience Required
Health Science qualification or Commercial Bachelors Degree
B.Sc. or relevant Business Degree/Diploma
Pharmaceutical experience
Extensive product knowledge (Anti-Infectives, CVS, Allergy, Respiratory, ARV & Pain)
Experience Required
3+ years Pharmaceutical/Marketing industry experience
Must have the ability to interpret, analysis and present Rx and IMS data for support of
business decisions and analyzing market trends/potentials of products.


Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:

Knowledge:

Analytical, financial, budgeting and forecasting skills would be required

Brand/Product/Commercial Management experience

Insight generation and research knowledge are essential

Line management experience in a marketing environment would be an advantage

Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
