Job Description



This CNC Production Machine Programmer role reporting to the Production Manager is a challenging and exciting role, giving you the opportunity to show your abilities and attributes.

You will be a highly motivated hands-on individual who runs the programming section. This section has to ensure that customer requirements is met by drafting detailed manufacturing drawings, create programs for CNC machines, simulate programs and then lastly proof program on machines.



Qualifications

Trade test (Tool and Die, machinist) Mastercam experience essential (turning) Simco experience (Preferred)

Skills

You will have at least 5 years'' experience as a CNC Programmer in a Production environment and have:
Excellent knowledge of Fanuc controls Work to fine tolerances Be able to read, redraw and interpret technical drawings Ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven. Superior computer programming skills on Turning and Grinding. Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry and physics. Good problem-solving skills, on machines and on drawings. Excellent time management skills. Good organizational and planning skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly detail oriented. Must be able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
