Logistics Supervisor

Requirements:
To supervise the Logistics processes and team in order to achieve business objectives
National Diploma: Supply Chain Management
Compliance and alignment to legislative requirements (eg POPIA)
5 - 10 years relevant experience in a related role within the food manufacturing environment
Must have knowledge and skills of the following:
The principles of HACCP, an understanding of Quality Control in the Production environment, quality and food safety requirements for a Quality Management System.
Must have experience of a Production & Refining Processes i.e. production, principles, methodologies and processes
Apply health, safety, security in your environment
Comply to Legislation as set out in the OSH Act and to organisational standards

Financial Management:
Ensure controls are in place to mitigate material risks

Conduct structured workshop meetings
Presentations

Must be able to apply the organisation''s code of conduct, the principles of corporate governance and ethics
Apply basic business principles
Needs to have problem-solving techniques to make decisions or solve problems
Must have good people supervisory skills and be able to apply basic human resources practices
