LOGISTICS CONTROLLER – URGENT

Ubuntu Logistics & Transportation is looking for an experienced and driven Logistics Controller to join our growing team. We operate long-haul tautliners, superlink combinations, and smaller fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure and manage fleet operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily planning and scheduling of trucks and drivers
• Monitoring vehicle tracking and route performance
• Managing load allocations and ensuring on-time deliveries
• Communication with clients regarding collections and deliveries
• Managing driver queries and breakdown coordination
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and transport regulations
• Fuel monitoring and cost control
• Maintaining accurate fleet and load records

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Logistics Controller or Transport Controller
• Strong knowledge of long-haul transport operations
• Experience working with superlink / tautliner trucks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Computer literate (tracking systems, Microsoft Office, emails)
• Strong problem-solving skills

Advantageous:

• Experience in fleet management systems
• Knowledge of transport compliance and documentation
