Lecturer - Film

The SAE Institute Rosebank Campus is looking for a charismatic Film Lecturer to join their creative academic team.
The purpose of this role is to teach Film Studies and Screenwriting as well as additional modules to eager young students.
Summary of duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:

Lecture in the film programme.
Set and mark tests, assignments and portfolios.
Develop new content/curriculum for the new degree.
Engage in departmental administration duties.
Participate in individual and/or programme research projects.
Attend meetings prescribed by the Head of Department.
Undertake appropriate duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
REQUIREMENTS
Legal/qualification/certification
Min NQF 8 qualification in area of specialisation
Two years lecturing experience
Five years recent industry experience film studies and screenwriting  
Experience in 16mm, 35mm and digital formats preferred. Production
Skilled production manager or producer
Experience in various formats preferred; including longform, documentary and online content creation
