Denodo Administrator

*Responsibilities:* * Installation, configuration, monitoring and support of Denodo platform including upgrades and maintenance of security. * Provide Subject matter expertise on all aspects of Denodo. * Address a majority of technical questions concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture and general feature / functionality of our product. * Diagnose any issues including errors and performance topics. Work with Denodo technical support leading to resolution. * Establish governance processes and best practice documentation and internal knowledgebase for users of Denodo. Review usage and adoption of best practices. * Establish load balancing, caching, backups, conduct DR drills. Automate regular administration activities. *Qualifications / Skills* * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields * Has experience in any of the following AWS Athena and Glue Pyspark, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions and Kafka CC * Proficient in AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, PySpark , Step Functions , Glue Workflows, Kafka CC, Delta.io * Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operation * Certified in “Denodo Operations Management” – “Denodo Security Management” – “Denodo Platform Installation” * Capable of independently perform the job duties. Self-driven and quick learner * Excellent communication for interfacing with developers, users, infrastructure teams, architects and any external partners. * Linux Scripting and general Infrastructure system knowledge * Experience in Linux operating systems in server environments. * Understanding of LDAP, SSL and other security concepts. * Good knowledge of JDBC, XML and Web Services APIs. * Good knowledge of query optimization and analysis of SQL execution plans in context of heterogeneous joins. * Other experience of DW/BI is a plus. * Good knowledge in AWS EC2 instances and its management needs. *Work Experience* * Good understanding and experience in Data Virtualization * At least 2+ yrs. of experience with Administration and development in Denodo * Administration experience to include installation, configuration, security, cache management in a highly available enterprise environment. * Experience in a Data Engineer or similar roles * Experience with big data tools is a must: Delta.io, PySpark, Kafka, etc. * Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra. * Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Step functions , glue workflow  etc. * Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift Denodo platform, Denodo Administrator, AWS Athena and Glue Pyspark, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions and Kafka CC None Denodo platform, Denodo Administrator, AWS Athena and Glue Pyspark, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions and K
