Description
Requirements:
Grade 12 and / or Diploma or Certificate in Procurement / Business management / Project management
Minimum 3 years Tender and Bid management experience
Experience in managing multiple tender applications
Knowledge on Vendor applications / PSL registration
Sound knowledge of all legislation applicable to tenders
Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
Ability to work on multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines
Ability to take complex information and simplify it in the form of smart art of graphics
Good Mathematical acumen
Strong sense of urgency
Proven track record of success with relevance to tenders
Computer literate
Valid drivers license with own vehicle
Tender experience in the recruitment and staffing industry
Experience in Government tenders and regulations
Familiar with the Association for Project Managers Professional (APMP) principles, methodology and best practices
Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001
Deadline and process driven and able to work under extreme pressure
Excellent analytical critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Second language
High-level content and graphic creation
Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sourcing and identifying tender opportunities from various print media and tender communications platforms
Respond to tender requests in line with the Companys tender and RFP / RFQ process
Attend briefing sessions
Submit a written report on briefing sessions
Plan and coordinate tender requests in line with internal Tender process and Group Policy
Manage all statutory documentation and ensure validity across Business Units
Compile tender documents and prepare packs
Liaise and provide assistance to Business Units, Managers, Sales and other company personnel on matters pertaining to tenders, quotations and processes as and when required
Ensure timeous completion and 100% accuracy of all tender documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies, strategies, guidelines and authority level
Keep abreast with international tender methodologies, government tender practices and statutory documentation
Reporting and providing feedback to Management and Cluster Executive
Maintain a tender management reporting database
Provide analytical support on tender
Working with and reporting to Senior Stakeholder
