Limpopo - Exciting opportunity in mining companyMain job functionMaintain and encourage a safe working environmentRecognise operational, technical and safety challenges – plan to overcome these and maintain continuous improvementEnsure strict achievement of production targets (Both mining and processing)Ensuring MH&S and Environmental compliance is of a high standardMaintain good relationship with all communitiesMaintain good relationships with the DMR and the DWS (and all other related state departments)Ensure compliance with all DMR, DWS and environmental reporting for mine projectsImplementation of technical and operational mining tasks to achieve goalsAssist in implementing new and efficient ways of miningPromote the company in the mining industry & amongst peer managers in the eastern limb operationsManage all staff at the mine with HR Department’s helpManage all contractors on site to ensure budgets are met and other contractual obligations are adhered to.QUALIFICATIONS:Qualifications· BSC Engineering (Mining/Metallurgical)· Mine Manager certificationEXPERIENCE:Experience/Criteria· At least 5 years’ experience as a Mine Manager (Underground and/or Open cast)· At least 10- 15 years Mining experience· Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
