Our client is situated in the Limpopo Province - approximately 90km East of Polokwane and/or 65 Km West of Burgersfort Job Brief:The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources Practices and Processes. The duties will involve managing activities such as job design/profiling, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development and talent management. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture as well as managing Community Relations and dealing with Communities and Unions. The HR Manager will be responsible for the overall Social and Labour Plan (SLP) and Mining Charter Reporting.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyBridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issuesManaging the recruitment and selection processDevelop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyBridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issuesManage the recruitment and selection processSupport current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capitalDevelop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, strategies, and procedures across the organizationNurture a positive working environmentOversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performanceMaintain pay plan and benefits programAssess training needs to apply and monitor training programsReport to management and provide decision support through HR StandardsEnsure legal compliance throughout Human Resource ManagementEnsure compliance with labour regulationsProject management and oversight of the Social and Labour Plan initiatives.SLP ReportingMining Charter Reporting Minimum RequirementsProven working experience as HR Manager within the mining industryPeople-oriented and results-drivenDemonstrable experience with Human Resources StandardsKnowledge of HR systems and databasesAbility to architect strategy along with leadership skillsExcellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsCompetence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the companyIn-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practicesMatric / Grade 12Formal HR qualification i.e. diploma or degree5 – 7 Years’ experience in a similar positionExperience in SLP (Social and Labour Plans)Current or previous experience within the mining industry compulsoryOther Skills/Competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication in English with people skillsStrong operating and troubleshooting skills regarding all underground infrastructureOther Requirements:Own transportIn-depth knowledge of MS SuiteGeneral understanding of administrative systems and document controlAnalytical and detail orientatedExcellent communication skillsFluent in English and Pedi (preferable)Ability to work on their
