Deloitte & Touche is among the region’s leading professional services firms, providing audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services through nearly 3600 partners/directors and staff in more than 16 offices in Southern Africa. *Head Channel Management *   *Location: Isando - Johannesburg *   *Purpose of the role:* Channel Managers are professionals responsible for growing, advising and reviewing business applicable best practices and most importantly generating revenue through 3rd party Channel Partners. Their role is to support, encourage, coach and grow Channel Partners using the appropriate ‘Big Deal’ instruments and Channel Key Account Plans as appropriate with the single primary responsibility and accountability for generating revenue through large 3 rd party Channel Partners. The Channel Manager must achieve the target from the channel and must therefore have systems and measures in place to regularly track performance so that corrective action can be taken in a timely manner.   *Criteria:* * Business Management degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification * 10 years of sales experience * 5 - 8 years in Channel Management and 3 years in software sales * Applicants must have had some formal Sales methodology training * Successful experience as a Channel Sales Representative. This experience on the front lines of the Channel Sales process is what really hones the skills and abilities one needs to be a successful Channel Manager * Any additional experience in digitisation, security, cloud, analytics is an advantage                     * Applicants must have had some formal Sales methodology training * Business Management degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification * Successful experience as a Channel Sales Representative.
