Description
Duties:
Provide technical support to customers, telephonic and on-site.
Keep up to date with Homag technology of installed base in South Africa.
Problem evaluation on specific applications where Homag equipment is used.
Attend to breakdowns or commissioning on-site as and when required.
Report to the client in writing and keep a proper record of repairs and returns.
Prepare and submit warranty claims.
Keep a record of all warranty claims.
Internal sales technical support.
Assist with quotes when required.
Ability to travel away from home, after hours and cross-border support.
Assist with spare stock control and warehousing.
Administration of the service centre.
Maintain ISO requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum Matric/Grade 12
Qualified Electrician or Technician with N3 or NDip in Electrical Engineering
Min. 3 years'' experience on control systems
Control systems electronics and/or pneumatics experience
