Description

Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have a tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering or any related field
At least 4 years experience in the manufacturing and/or seed agricultural industries will be required
Strong leadership skills, managing conflict and negotiating with cross-functional teams are important
Demonstrated skills of courage, candor and initiative are essential
Strong communication and coaching skills are required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Understanding the Product Supply System implementation methodology, lean content and change management approach to successfully sustain implementation at the assigned site.
Acting as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in lean practices and facilitating the continuous improvement journey at the site.
Reviewing continuous improvement opportunities with the Implementation Task Force (ITF) and the Site Steering Committee (SSC) to be implemented, focusing on full benefit of employees and business.
Leading a best practices team and continuous improvements / best practices internally and externally (network).
Ensuring change management requirements are being addressed and coordinating change efforts to implement and sustain improvement.
Developing and reviewing site key performance indicators that provide a clear tracking system on manufacturing performance.
Providing oversight of processes related to product quality in cooperation with seed production management and other stakeholders.
Leading Quality and Safety initiatives broadly and building a culture to maintain a healthy and safe Quality Management System (QMS).
Developing improvement work studies and identifying quality and performance opportunities, cost reduction and analysing the main variables of the process, proposing actions to the production team in the case of deviations.
Promoting discussion among plant representatives on good practices, performance results and new technologies for the production processes.
Promoting operational training when necessary.
Representing the Optimization team in global studies and leading projects aiming to exchange good practices between countries.
Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
