Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a middle management level in a similar role
  • Tertiary Qualification at Diploma or Degree level will be an advantage
  • Valid Code 8 Driver’s License ? Ability to work odd hours and night shift when required
  • Advanced knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirements with the ability to implement a system, policies, processes, documented information, and resources needed to implement and maintain it.

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
Define, establish, and maintain the organisation’s framework of managing required activities, to minimise risks for things to go wrong and to identify and facilitate opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction. Develop a culture of customer focus and drive quality and excellence in all aspect of the organisation. Ensure compliance with all legally required as well as preferred regulations and standards.

 

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Sound knowledge of Courier / Freight industry
  • Working knowledge of Courier systems and procedures
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of business principles
  • High level of business acumen
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • People management skills

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE (but not limited to)

  • Ensure effective, efficient, and proactive management of the QMS to enable business success
  • Ensure GDP (SAHPRA) compliance through the QMS
  • Report on QMS performance and opportunities for improvement
  • Correct non-conformities through root cause analysis
  • Determine, understand and meet the requirements of employees, customers, suppliers
  • Support the evaluation and ongoing performance management of supplier quality
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements
  • Facilitate opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Identify and mitigate risks that pose a threat to customer satisfaction
  • Drive a culture of quality within the organisation
  • Provide clear guidance to the organisation by ensuring clear policies, procedures, instructions, documentation and objectives.
  • Unify, standardise, and simplify policies, procedures, and processes
  • Determine the impact and required changes when documents are created or revised
  • Understand and manage the interrelated processes to provide visibility over the interrelationships and interdependencies among the processes across functions
  • Streamline processes by evaluating data and information and removing non-value adding steps, overlaps and redundancies
