Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our client in the Industrial Automation industry is looking for a top calibre, qualified candidate to join its Mechanical Design team in the role of a Mechanical Design Engineer. Role & Responsibility Design Excellence: Conceptualise and design purpose-built machinery, industrial equipment, robotic welding and assembly cells, body-in-white jigs, conveyance systems, and lifting equipment.Engineering Analysis: Analyse the mechanical functionality of systems, including Finite Element Analysis.Control Systems: Specify electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.CAD Proficiency: Develop manufacturing drawings using Solidworks in compliance with company standards.Collaboration: Interface with Customers, Vendors, Production Managers, and Procurement to find optimal solutions.Technical Prowess: Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Problem Resolution: Collaborate with Automation engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
