Full Stack PHP Developer requirements

Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for (5+) year(s)
Knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Familiarity with limitations of PHP, as well as workarounds
Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, etc.)
Good relational database skills (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB)
Proven expertise in working with API services (REST and SOAP)
Knowledge of Agile development practices (TDD, refactoring, continuous integration)

We are on the lookout for a full-time Senior PHP Engineer to join our development team. Our ideal Senior PHP Engineer will be proficient in Laravel and share our passion for technology and making a difference in South Africa. We are seeking a problem-solver with 5+ years of experience as a software developer who has great communication skills and a can-do positive attitude. As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features and responsible for developing and maintaining functional and stable web applications. Youll be our go-to person for all PHP projects and youll be an integral part of the Technology team. Job DescriptionThe Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is responsible for developing and overseeing environmental, social and corporate governance policies and procedures across our existing and growing portfolio of 11 renewable energy projects. The projects are required to be socially and environmentally sustainable and comply with nationally and internationally recognized best practices. The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the policy goals of the company in regards to ESG best practice and standards.
